About the Gregorian Choir
Our mission, history, and spiritual foundation
The Gregorian Choir of Corpus et Sanguis Christi Cathedral is a dedicated community of singers committed to enhancing the sacred liturgy through the timeless beauty of Gregorian chant and sacred music.
We believe that music in the liturgy is not entertainment, but prayer. Following the teachings of the Church, especially those found in Sacrosanctum Concilium and Musicam Sacram, we strive to offer music that is holy, beautiful, and universal — music that draws the faithful deeper into the mystery of the Eucharist.
Our repertoire centres on Gregorian chant, the proper music of the Roman liturgy, complemented by carefully chosen sacred polyphony, traditional hymns, and worthy contemporary compositions that respect the sacred character of the Mass.
Our Mission
To serve God and His people by providing sacred music of the highest quality for the liturgical celebrations of Corpus et Sanguis Christi Cathedral, fostering prayer, unity, and reverence.
Our Vision
To be a choir that continually grows in musical excellence and spiritual depth, forming members who understand that singing in the liturgy is a true ministry of the Church.
